WARRIORS OF THE WHEEL.

My name: GabyGaby. My job: Art-Athlete. My rule: Paint like it's a sport.
I like cycling, I like the Tour de France, I enjoy the spring classics, but most of all I respect the Warriors that participate in this sport. Those who use their muscles and their minds. Those who are going through the pain and feel the passion and the joy. I love how almost all of them think they can win, but only the elite can: the warriors of the wheel.
I like them because their lifestyle reminds me of myself. We both want to win every battle we fight. We both are focused for weeks at a time. We both train our asses off. We both do whatever necessary to reach our goal.
To those Warriors I dedicate this book. To those warriors I take of my hat. I hope these warriors will keep the game interesting and I hope they keep shining a light on a sport that is now in its dark days.
I realize some of these warriors did not play fair, but I guess that comes with trying to win every single battle possible. I do not agree, but I see why it might have happened. It doesn't make them lesser warriors in my eyes, because all warriors were fighting the battles the same way. Some just fought smarter than others.
I hope the current warriors fight back and win this battle, so that for many years to come we can still enjoy the epic fights on roads all over the world.
